How do I have all mail delivered to one address.

How do I have all mail delivered to one address.

Yes you can. Login to your cpanel and set the default email address to the email you wish to receive all mail on. Please note it is not a good idea to enter an email address issued to you by your isp or free email accounts. You should only use an email address that is hosted on your account.

For example it is a very bad idea to set the default mail address to yourmail@aol.com or a yahoo/msn address. The reason for this is that you could get your domain name and our server blocked by those isp's.

Please be aware that using the default address will increase the amount of spam you receive. The reason for this is that a spammer can send mail to anything@yourdomain.com and you will receive it. A safer way to have all mail sent to one address is to disable the default address and create 1 pop3 account. Once you have a pop3 account, you can add forwarders to to allow mail that you want to receive.

eg

You create a pop3 for mike@yourdomainname.com and have the deafult address disabled, only mail sent to mike@ will be received. If you also want to receive mail at info@ you add a forwarder so that info@ forwards to mike@.

You can repeat this as many times as you want for each email alias you wish to allow, there is no need to create a pop3 for each if only you receive the mail.
